By the Wood is nestled between Church Pulverbatch and Wrentnall on the Shropshire Way and Marches Way walks. It’s an ideal location if you enjoy exploring local country walks and bird watching, or sitting back and unwinding in the peaceful countryside surrounded by wildlife.

With hard-standing and grassed pitches as well as brand-new glamping pods to enjoy, it’s a fantastic place to relax in nature. Walk through the wood Gary and Nicky planted with support from the woodland trust (1700 trees!) and find all the carved wooden characters hidden on the path.

By the Wood Glamping is in its fourth year in 2026. Two brand new pods have ensuite toilets and showers. Pods are for up to two adults.

Your outdoor space is great for relaxing after exploring, walks or finishing a great book. Making meals? Choose between the firepit, barbeque and the kitchenette indoors.
